Week Two

How did it go last week? Tougher than you thought or a pleasant stroll in the park? (And if that is literally what you did I hope your heart rate was up!!).
Poor Donna has bronchitis so no way can do the exercise. Susan says having Doug in her team is like living with the diet and exercise police.
The Salsa exercise class launched last week and there is room for more. 7pm @ Link Church main hall on Monday evening.
Are folks interested in soup and smoothies evening? What about 21st Nov? We could maybe get a Wi and put it up on the big screen and run some competitions.

Count those calories!

Looks like Chicken Chop Suey and fried rice was a bit of a calorie hit but oh it was good!
It takes a few days but I reckon our bodies do begin to adjust to all that water. It is just a pity that our diaries don't seem to adjust quite as easily to the exercise. Maybe your does?

Getting started!

So here are a few more things that were forgotten on the launch night. You need to try and do you exercise in blocks no smaller that 30 minutes. So a pile of ten minutes doesn't do it. You cannot eat more fruit and veg the next day to make up points you lost the day before. When it gets to Thursday at 11.59pm you exercise for the week is done. No doing extra on Friday to make it up.
Trying to sabotage an other teams good effort by leaving chocolate cake on their doorstep........................? That quite frankly is hilarious!

All systems go!

Well, there are eleven teams all raring to go and the major debate tonight seemed to be whether all the chocolate today would show on the scales tonight or tomorrow!! Anyway get drinking the water, eating the veg and taking all that exercise. And just to mention (I knew I would forget something) one glass of fruit juice does count as a portion of fruit and veg but just one a day.

Hopefully you will all make use of this blog to encourage and share info. It is easy to leave a comment and you do not need to have an account.

The Salsa exercise class is going to run. Monday night in the main hall of the Link Church at 7pm. Put the word out. Could be a laugh and bet it is great exercise!

Welcome back or welcome on board!

Energize will re-launch this Thursday night, the 30th @ Link Church in Priory Lane. We will start getting together at 7.15pm with the explanations for the new and the returners at 7.30pm.
Remember there must be at least one person from each team at the launch and also on prize night you need to be there to collect prizes!! If you want to count points for weight loss then you need to be weighed on the night (all very secretive honest!!) or submit a slip from somewhere like Tescos.
We will not be organising any regular walks this time, too dark and too cold but this blog will be really useful to tell each other good classes and anything you have organised that others can get involved in.
